I wanted to let people know that the Nominating Committee has been elected and consists of Yours Truly (Maureen Johnson), Jody Sergienko, and Rich Baldwin. If anyone has ideas for people we could invite to the executive board, please (please--PLEASE!!) let one of us know and we will do the hard part of asking them. Or bribing them, whichever comes first. Oh I'm KIDDING!

I know this sounds fairly ridiculous but, I really don't want to be secretary next year. I think I'm a horrible secretary. I would be willing to do just about any other thing on the board (except co-president and treasurer, and I think I can't do the ways and means committee again) phooey. What does that leave me? Demery and Elizabeth's position? (deep breath) MAYBE I could do that. I just really think I'm a stinky secretary.

Thanks Maureen for stepping up to serve on the Nominating Committee!  We have such an awesome group of parents at Shelton View that I'm sure we will fill all positions with ease.

I just thought of another couple of names to throw in the hat (hopefully they don't throw me under a train for suggesting them!)

I think Kristi Ollestad would make a FABULOUS co-president.

Kim Marks is very active in her kids' classrooms as well as Robin Parmalee. They might be willing to step and have a more school-wide affect.

I wish I knew more Dads so I could suggest them. Jill Halvorson's husband? (I'm sorry, I forget his name. Pretty sure it starts with a D though...) He seems like a dad that likes to get involved. Oh! Scott Schaffer, Cindy Wenner's husband. There's a suggestion.

Ok, I'm done. I just wanted to put some names out there of people I think might LOVE to serve but, they might not be the first to mention it.
