1/2 medium tub Cool Whip1/2 small tub sour creamOne large can pumpkin pie mix1/2 cup brown sugar1/2 teaspoon nutmeg1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Mix all in bowl adjusting sugar and spices to taste. Serve with fruit or cinnamon *tortilla chips. For a nice presentation, serve the chilled dip in a hollowed out small pumpkin.
*tortilla chips can be made by taking flour tortillas and cutting them into triangles, spritzing them with water, sprinkling them with cinnamon-sugar then baking them at 350 until light-brown.

2 teaspoons canola oil1 pound London broil or top round steak, trim fat and cut into 1/2 inch cubes1 medium onion, finely chopped or 1/2 bag frozen onions6 garlic cloves, minced2 teaspoons paprika3-4 teaspoons chili powder1 teaspoon ground cumin (optional)1 teaspoon dried oregano3-4 teaspoons salt1 14 1/2 oz can diced tomatoes with liquid1 cup non alcoholic beer 4-5 chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, diced1 -15 oz can kidney beans and 1- 15 oz can pinto beans drained & rinsed
Heat oil on medium high in frying pan and put the 1/2 inch cubes of London broil or top round steak in. Then add 6 cloves of minced garlic and salt and pepper and stir until completely browned. Pour your browned meat into the crock pot with the rest of the ingredients and stir occasionally. Thicken to your preference with flour and juice from the crockpot. Presto, your chili is finished when you come home from work/school that day. Makes about 4 servings. Double it for a big crockpot full.

Here is a recipe that has been requested of me from an earlier PTA meeting:
Bring 1 cup sugar and 1 cup Karo syrup to a boil, remove from heat. Add 1 cup peanut butter stir until melted. Mix in 6 cups Special K cereal, stir until coated.
Put into a well greased 13x9 pan.
In a microwave safe bowl combine 1 pkg choc. chips, and 1 pkg butterscotch chips. Microwave, stirring every minute until melted.
Pour over cereal mixture, let choc. mixture set. Cut into squares.
